Navkom biometric systems

Access control systems from the Slovenian company Navkom consist of a fingerprint reader and a controller. A wide range of components and extensive access control options make the system attractive to different market segments.

The system can store up to 498 fingerprints, making it suitable for both private and corporate use.

The different types of controllers and readers make Navkom products attractive for both door manufacturers and those working with already installed doors.

The system can be connected to virtually any lock that has a relay input – from a simple electric latch to sophisticated motorised solutions from a variety of manufacturers.

Fingerprint readers can be designed in a variety of formats: for embedding in door handles, door leaves, door frames. Wall-mounted readers are also available. High speed of fingerprint recognition and wide operating temperature range (-20°C ~ +60°C), IP54 weather protection class make Navkom readers a good solution for both internal and external doors.

Navkom access controllers can be installed completely inside the door, on the side of the door or externally for DIN rail mounting. The controllers have 1 or 2 relay outputs (NO), some models can control not only the lock but also the LED lighting.

Navkom’s pull handles are made of stainless steel and can be manufactured in a wide range of sizes. A fingerprint reader can be mounted on the outer or inner side of the handle.

The access system can be controlled either with a smartphone (Android, iPhone) or without a smartphone using the system administrator’s fingerprint. Using the x-manager app, each user can be assigned an access schedule. Various system settings are also available – relay assignments, activation times, backlight settings and more.

Special cable and connector sets for different types of locks (G-U, Winkhaus, MACO, FUHR, KFV and others) make system installation quick and convenient.
