WAFERLOCK Smart Handles

WAFERLOCK electronic handles are the perfect solution for small systems. European certificates (CE, for models L700/L701 also EN15684, IP68) confirm the high quality of the products. The product was also tested for fire resistance and withstood a 60 minute test.

Two modes of operation – standalone and smartphone pairing – allow our electronic handles to be used in a variety of situations. If the user does not need to set the access rights’ validity period, track event history, he/she can select simple standalone mode and program up to 250 cards to be used for opening.

If access schedules, history tracking and two-factor authorisation are required, smartphone pairing mode can be selected and the simple and intuitive Waferkey app can be used for both lock setting and unlocking (available for Android and iPhone phones). In this mode, locks can store up to 2000 access methods in memory.

The electronic handles can be automatically locked (the automatic locking time can be set between 3 and 240 seconds) or operated in toggle mode, in which case the lock remains unlocked until an authorised access card is presented.

The user can always open the lock from the inside. When used in conjunction with a mechanical lock, a mechanical key can always be used.

The Waferkey application allows you to configure different access schedules. The owner can give the user permanent access, recurring access (“Mondays from 12 to 16”) or temporary access.

The L701 smart locks offers the option of using a digital code as well as a card or smartphone to unlock the lock. The lock owner can assign a unique code (4 to 6 digits) to users and unlocking requires only the knowledge of the code.
For premises requiring a higher level of security, L701 handles can be set to require two-factor authorisation: the user must first present a card and then enter the code.

You must be within Bluetooth range to configure and unlock the handles. However, you can send a key from one smartphone to another, even if both phones are far away from the lock.

L730-EU handles are suitable for most European locks.
L700/L701 handles are available in several versions:

  • without a cylinder hole
  • with a cylinder hole at a distance of 70, 72, 85, 88, 90 and 92 mm from the handle

The handles are compatible with doors ranging from 35 to 102 mm in thickness and can be easily installed on the majority of doors.
The standard 8 mm spindle can be adjusted to locks that require a 9 mm spindle using a special adapter.
