Task
The goal was to automate access to a private house. The customer wanted an access control system with biometric identification, remote control via the Internet, and motorized door locking and unlocking.
An additional requirement of the project was to provide continuous mains power supply for the fingerprint reader to ensure maximum reliability and eliminate dependence on batteries. At the same time, the existing door was equipped with a multipoint lock requiring a powerful motorized drive, while installing power and control wiring through the door leaf was not possible.
Solution
To implement the project, the following equipment combination was selected:
Disec Motorlock Avanzato – a powerful motorized drive with autonomous battery power supply;
Navkom Controller V8 with fingerprint reader — provides biometric access and remote control via the Internet;
Disec Radio Module – transmits commands from the controller to the motor via Bluetooth, eliminating the need to run cables through the door;
M&C MATRIX*** cylinder with a special tailpiece designed for operation with the Disec Motorlock.
The existing door hardware did not allow the installation of the motorized drive, so Disec manufactured a custom mounting plate specifically for this project.
Result
ВAs a result, the customer received a reliable keyless access system with biometric identification, remote control, and automatic locking and unlocking of the multipoint lock, without any modifications to the door structure.
