Integration of Disec Motorlock and Navkom biometric system

Do you want to equip your door with a biometric access control system and a motorised lock? We have a solution to suit almost everyone – door manufacturers and locksmiths; for steel, PVC or aluminium doors. You don’t even have to change the lock – our solution fits almost any lock with a Euro profile (DIN) cylinder, including ‘heavy’ multipoint locks.

If you are a door manufacturer or a qualified locksmith, you can use the basic version of the Disec Motorlock and the minimal configuration of the Navkom system. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the door leaf, frame or handle, the access controller is mounted inside the door, you wire the controller’s relay output and the Motorlock’s control input.

The flexible settings on both systems allow you to customise the unlocking and locking process to suit your needs. The motorised lock can be taught to make the desired number of turns, to unlock or not unlock the latch, to make a beep when it opens or to do everything silently. You can set the lock to lock automatically when the door is closed.

Access control is managed by the Navkom system. You can store up to 498 fingerprints, set user access schedules and view event history. You can also add key fobs to the system, allowing you to unlock the lock without a fingerprint. As a bonus, you can control the LED door lights – for example, automatically turning them on at sunset and off at sunrise.

More advanced Navkom controllers allow you to control the system remotely – and you don’t even need Internet inside the premises: the controller has a prepaid SIM card for 10 years, and data is transmitted via the GSM network.

But what if the door is already installed and there’s no way to run wires inside the door? No problem – you use an advanced version of the Disec Motorlock with Bluetooth module and rechargeable batteries. Instead of a conventional reed switch, the Disec wireless sensor is installed on the door.

You also need a wall-mounted fingerprint reader and a DIN-rail-mounted Navkom controller. The systems are connected via a special Disec radio module that converts relay switches into Bluetooth signals.
