WAFERLOCK electronic cylinders are the perfect solution for small systems. European certificates (CE, EN15684, IP68) confirm the high quality of the products. The product was also tested for fire resistance and withstood a 60 minute test.
Two modes of operation – standalone and smartphone pairing – allow our cylinders to be used in a variety of situations. If the user does not need to set the access rights’ validity period, track event history, he/she can select simple standalone mode and program up to 250 cards to be used for opening.
If access schedules, history tracking and two-factor authorisation are required, smartphone pairing mode can be selected and the simple and intuitive Waferkey app can be used for both lock setting and unlocking (available for Android and iPhone phones). In this mode, the device can store up to 2000 access methods, including cards, codes, and app-based access.
The Waferkey application allows you to configure different access schedules. The owner can give the user permanent access, recurring access (“Mondays from 12 to 16”) or temporary access.
The C760 cylinder offers the option of using a digital code as well as a card or smartphone to unlock the cylinder. The cylinder owner can assign a unique code (4 to 6 digits) to users, and knowledge of the code is all that is required to unlock the cylinder.
For premises requiring a higher level of security, C760 cylinders can be set to require two-factor authorisation: the user must first present a card and then enter the code.
You must be within Bluetooth range to configure and unlock the cylinder. However, you can send a key from one smartphone to another, even if both phones are far away from the lock.
Starting in November 2024, C760 cylinders will become remote controlled via the Internet.
The WAFERLOCK modular system makes our cylinders a convenient product for retailers. The properly sized cylinder can be assembled from a few relatively inexpensive parts.
